Merry Christmas

David and i were able to go home and see our families. we started our journey with a 12 hour drive on christmas eve through Nevada and the Sierra Nevadas. it was snowing but we were safe and glad that we had four wheel drive. we got to blomdal family house and got to sleep around 1 and then got woken up by 2 excited little girls at 6:40. then we shredded presents from santa and got camping gear. yeah so when it is warm david and i have gear for a get away. then we ate abeskievers with grandma and grandpa!

then to the daniels house to open more presents. cael was my secret santa and got me a cupcake ornament, the grinch movie, and bubble bath. mom was david secret santa and he got flashlights and a new knife (but no socks- haha now he is out of socks!) tovae loved the homemade tutu that i made her! mom loved her bowl and spatula. david and i got more of our china and david got a ladies white button up shirt and orange peacoat that was actually meant for my mom but was tagged for him.

then back to the blomdal's for christmas turkey dinner. which was delicious.

lets see... we slept like newborn children that night from all the action.

on friday, i got to dress my mom and get her new work clothes. and she bought me a beautiful orange peacoat! talbots was having an amazing sale. then we played a rousing game of bowling with the schrieners. i got spanky new shoes from the kid section and they were velcro. david did well at bowling. andrew had a tough time and resorted to granny style and ramps!

saturday we played killer bunnies and finally got the hang of it. then we had chinese food from master fungs (the best western style chinese food made by mexicans). then sunday we drove back home. one of the best things on the road was the mini churros from jack in the box! it was nice break and had an awesome time. now we get to watch tv from our christmas money on our brand new 42' plasma! how was your christmas.
