Zions National Park

so we started driving at 4 in the morning and lucky got a camp site. we unpacked and our first adventure was emerald pools. it was an awesome hike. then we had lunch at the remains of an old grotto. then we started up angels landing. well it was the middle of the afternoon, boiling hot, and we had woken up early in the morning, so the boys finished the hike and the girls went exploring a little. at the end of the day we were all begging for a shower but the dirty creek had to do to get some of the sweat and dirt off.

day 2- after a real nights sleep we visited weeping rock and headed to the narrows. the narrows is a thin canyon with a river through it and they let you walk through it. at first it was crowded and the farther we got the less people were around. some spots were waist deep on me (5'2") and some were white rapids, but majority was knee high and just fun. the walls were beautiful and had some awesome cave-like carve outs.

day 3- the bowmans hiked angels landing and blomdals wandered around. we left around noon. when we got home the shower felt GREAT! we went out to red robin and got fast and the furious and threw a little party for ourselves that we survived.

we would defiantely suggest going camping at zions to anyone. we would only suggest you should do the harder hikes in the morning and the scenic or moderate hikes in the afternoon for more shade!

so it is sad to see the bowmans go but we already started planning our next trip with them! any suggestions?

oh yeah and they finally updated their blog!
