i knew august would start with a bang

remember how i was telling you that august would be awesome? well it started with a bang. we got to have e and f come a visit. we went to a comedy show, made chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes, had a harry potter marathon, saw the final harry potter, went to SLC, and played lots of silly games. i love that when i married d that i got 3 more younger "sisters"

then we went on vacation for the Hwedding. this couple has been so patient for this wedding and it was beautiful. my favorite was probably the bride's gown- oh my goodness it was stunning. and another favorite spending time with the girls getting our nails done.


so while we had vacation time we went to the jelly belly factory and instead of waiting in line for two hours to have the tour we just loaded our bags with jelly belly flops and left- that is really the exciting part anyway. we got to see my grandmother and visited for a little while. we also saw everyone from d's side of the family! d and i took a little time for ourselves and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge which was so nice to do together and then we had a wonderful seafood lunch right on the water. we love our trips to CA and never want them to end. but a little secret from me to you... they won't have to end :)
