list of people who eat free...

life is busy. we have been working and studying a lot and the weekends are now all about lounging and seriously not getting up at all. i consider lounging to be quite busy for all those who ask. yes the dishes in the sink bug me but we turn off the lights and pretend. and yes i would rather do the laundry during the week and not have to interupt my day full of lounging. however... now that new seasons of the best shows are starting over i am going to have to rethink my weekly schedule. lounging is not just compromised of tv, but baths and cooking and walks and silly games and enjoying our still newlywedness (we are soaking in it until heaven descends to share a peice of life with us!).

so you ask what have i been busy with- well i have been to the social security office twice trying to change my name and once i forgot the proper paperwork and the next time it closed at four which i understand.

making ice cream! my neighbor makes great cakes and last time i brought her ice cream she brought the plate back with a cake on it- yumm!! so i think i will test my luck and try it again! also making ice cream for work parties and simply to explore. i like cooking and i know that in a couple of years i will be an excellent cook if i keep having fun and attending my cooking class. my one suggestion to the cooking class is: STOP saying braising because i don't know what you mean and how am i suppose to braise if i think it is sauteing?

him is starting football season again and i love when he gets excited to work so many hours and has fun working! he is the best! byu's last two games look pretty good and this may be a great season. certainly great for sales. also with this next year being our last year of school we have set our the entire next year and a half out so we can have a calendar when we need it. ie. when we apply for grown up jobs.

we both got new callings! and a challenge to do better at VT and HT! our ward is huge and full of new couples and cute families! we need to find a new seat where we can see everything but are not surrounded by people.

Christmas is in 98 days and we have some shopping to do! i like buying gifts and have to start planning! i love christmas- #1 it is the beginning of a new year and #2 its all about giving and people don't feel guiltly about accepting gifts. i don't get why people feel guiltly about gifts. after all someone was thinking and about you and now you make them feel guiltly and stockerish for buying you something. i hesitate all the time on buying things afraid of being silly but i often do buy it any way. birthdays start coming and i like birthdays because (you guessed it) i get to give gifts!

oh and did i mention we have been busy with work and we like it!

oh and we got our pictures for our one year anniversary! so enough rambling and on with the pictures!

alright this is a good update for now. but i will keep thinking of what has made me this busy (hahaha) writing it down made it lame- DON'T DO IT!!

Happy 1 year! Those are some really cute pictures! And the mountains in the background are so pretty and big... I miss that here in flat Texas! Congrats, Dave, on becoming FA. That's awesome! You guys look great and thanks for the idea of setting goals; it comes naturally at the beginning of a new year but I appreciate being reminded of my goals in September. Thanks! Hope all is going well with you two!
